Sailor Moon formly known as Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon (Pretty Solidier Sailor Moon), is a Magical Girl TV show. The main character Serena Tsukino (Usagi Tsukino in the Original Japanese) is a normal Middle school student until she stumbles upon a talking cat named Luna. Luna tells her that she is destined to be Sailor Moon a Champion of Justice, and she must search for the Moon Princess. She then has to battle monsters and save the world. She finds friends along the way who help her in battle...

The original Manga is created by Naoko Takeuchi, which was originally published in 1992 and spanned 18 volumes. The series spanned 5 seasons, 200 episodes, three movies and five specials. Sailor Moon has been dubbed in many different languages. There is a live action series known as Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon and a Musical known by the fans as Sera Myu. When it was still popular it had a massive amount of merchandise in different countries, and there is new merchandise being made today in Italy.
